There are a lot of myths in regards to how Furniturelink operates, so we thought we'd provide you with answers to the most commonly asked questions here!

CAN YOU ONLY VISIT FURNITURELINK IF YOU RECEIVE BENEFITS?

No, Furniturelink is open to anyone and everyone. However, if you receive benefits you may be entitled to an additional discount.

IF I CLAIM BENEFITS CAN I GET FURNITURE FOR FREE?

All of our furniture is priced, and not free. Prices are non-negotiable however if you receive benefits you will be entitled to a discount (you’ll have to bring proof of benefits). If you are really struggling you can talk to our Warehouse manager Kenny who might be able to help you apply for a grant – meaning you’ll get 100% funding for required furniture.

WHAT CHARITY DO WE HELP, WHERE DOES THE MONEY RAISED GO?

Us, we are a charity. Money raised here goes to the running costs of the project. Click "Community" to see the various ways you can help support our charity or "Donate" to donate to our cause!

DO YOU BUY SECOND HAND FURNITURE?

No we don’t purchase any of our furniture, all the items that we sell are donated to us by the general public or via large retailers that we work with. The only things we buy in are cookers, fridge freezers and mattresses and these are purchased from reputable retailers.

CAN YOU ACCEPT ANYTHING FOR BULKY WASTE?

We can take most things when you use our bulky waste service however we can’t accept the following: builders rubble, pianos, garden waste, food or household waste, car batteries, paint, snooker or pool tables, car tyres, clothes or paper work.

CAN YOU ONLY DELIVER WITHIN GUILDFORD AND LOCAL TOWNS?

No, we use to only deliver locally however we can now deliver up-to 50 miles from our warehouse – additional charges will apply.
